By accessing or using the Food and Me mobile application (“App”), website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Food and Me, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the Service and that they have read and agreed to these Terms.

Food and Me provides an AI-powered food and ingredient analysis platform that allows users to:

• Scan and analyze food ingredients using device cameras
• Receive nutritional information and health insights
• Generate personalized recipe recommendations
• Track dietary preferences and restrictions
• Share content and interact with other users through social features
• Save and organize scans and recipes

Important: The Service is provided for informational purposes only and is not intended to replace professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms, without prior notice or liability.

You retain ownership of content you submit, post, or display through the Service (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in connection with the Service.

You agree not to:

• Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code

• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable, without prior notice.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Food and Me, Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Our trademarks, service marks, and logos may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.

You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with use of any such third-party services.

While we strive to provide accurate ingredient analysis and nutritional information, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided through the Service. AI-powered analysis may contain errors, and food manufacturers may change ingredients without notice.

You acknowledge that:

• Ingredient recognition may not be 100% accurate
• Nutritional calculations are estimates based on available data
• Recipe suggestions may not account for all dietary restrictions or allergies
• Food labeling regulations vary by region and may affect accuracy

You assume full responsibility for verifying any information before making dietary decisions.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Food and Me, Inc. and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your User Content
• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of any rights of another party

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
